FAQ’s

Q: What age restrictions are there at the Village?
A: Anybody can own a property in the village but the main occupier has to be 55

Q: Are pets allowed?*
A: Yes, as long as they are well behaved and do not cause a disturbance.
*People living in apartments must seek permission from the management company.

Q: Are the properties freehold or leasehold?
A: All properties are leasehold on a 150 year lease.  All access roads, gardens and other facilities are owned by the landlord.

Q: Is there a service charge?
A: Yes.  Please see separate sheet on current charges and what is included.

Q: Can my grandchildren come and stay?
A: Yes.  This is your private home and you are welcome to have family and friends stay at any time.

Q: What is included in the Leisure Facilities?
A: Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Function Room, Bar, Café, Games Room Lounge Pavilion and All Weather Bowling Green

Q: Can my family and guests use these facilities?
A: Yes.  There will be day passes that you can purchase from the Village Manager.

Q: Is this open to the general public?
A: Yes.  There are memberships open to the mature  local community

Q: How do I purchase a property before it is built?
A: Initially you pay a £1,000 reservation fee and then a further 10% deposit is required upon exchange of contracts and is normally 28 days after your reservation and your solicitor is satisfied for you to go ahead.  The balance of monies only become due when your property is complete.

Q: Can you assist in selling my property?
A: Yes.  We have several schemes that run from time to time.  Our sales consultant will be happy to provide current information to you and tailor make a package to suit your individual requirement.
